Introduction

Much of our world believes that Jesus told us the truth about God, life, and ourselves. But another large segment of the international community is convinced that even though Jesus came to us on behalf of God, He is no longer the most important person or voice in our world today.

In the following pages, RBC senior research editor Herb Vander Lugt shows how a New Testament letter addresses a similar crisis of faith in Israel during the first century. The issue remains as important now as it was then. Can any person or voice ever supersede the importance of Christ?
